They want to recognize your accomplishments and accelerate your plans for the future, and have 15 grants worth $10,000 each to award to every type of home service professional. Home service businesses provide a one time or recurring install, repair, maintenance, or mobile services to clients at residential or commercial properties.

The Rural Jump-Start Program is a collaborative effort by the state, local governments, Institutes of Higher Education (IHE), and economic development organizations (EDO) to incentivize new businesses to start in or move to rural, economically distressed counties in Colorado, which are referred to as Rural Jump-Start zones, and hire new employees. The Rural Jump-Start Program will accept applications for the tax benefits through December 31, 2025 and for the grant benefits through June 30, 2024. 

The FedEx E-Commerce Learning Lab helps women entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs of color sell online and scale their e-commerce through hands-on learning. Powered by nonprofit partner Accion Opportunity Fund and e-commerce consultancy 37 Oaks, this five-month program provides: immersive e-commerce courses and workshops, coaching from industry experts, networking with fellow entrepreneurs, online sales support and order fulfillment through the 2024 holiday season and a $5,000 business grant to support e-commerce growth plans.

Through a partnership with the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, this $5,000 grant helps support Hispanic small businesses with five or less employees. The grant application opens June 17th.

On June 1, 2024, Mayor Andre Dickens declared a state of emergency due to unprecedented water service disruption. Eligible small businesses can apply for City of Atlanta Recovery Fund grants up to $10,000 and also request $200 per eligible employee to help offset business interruptions.
