The Economic Response Fund will activate an initial $3.5 million through grants to established community organizations with deep experience in small business support. Support will focus on helping businesses take care of their employees through supporting payroll and maintaining staff and business hours, as well as helping businesses pay rent and maintain inventory.

Register and complete any combination of two eligible courses or events anytime in 2026 to unlock the grant application. Apply once to remain eligible for $10,000 grants awarded throughout the year. Applications will be reviewed monthly from June through December 2026

The Spectrum Reach Pay It Forward Grant program provides small business owners with marketing resources and tools to expand their brand, connect with new audiences and achieve lasting success. Grant recipients will receive a complimentary advertising schedule and a free 30-second commercial, as well as support from local media experts, on-demand educational resources, opportunities to network with like-minded entrepreneurs and more.

The Department of Planning, Building and Code Enforcement is offering grants that credit up to $8,000 to qualifying existing small businesses and non-residential property owners for CASp hiring costs and permit fees, until funds run out.
