Experience Chehalis offers several matching micro-grants to help downtown Chehalis businesses and property owners invest in their storefronts and operations. Programs include funding for façade and building-front improvements, holiday décor, safety and security upgrades (like lighting), small business events, and digital marketing/online presence. Award amounts and eligibility vary by program — most offer a 75% matching grant, up to $350–$2,500 depending on project type.

The Southern Smoke Foundation's Emergency Relief Program provides emergency funding to the owners and employees of restaurants and bars facing unforeseen circumstances that cannot be covered by insurance. To qualify, you must be experiencing an unforeseen crisis and currently be employed within the food and beverage industry, working at least 30 hours per week for a minimum of six months.
