Up to $250,000 capital grants (reimbursement, up to 75% of costs) for small business/cultural projects on West, Southwest, and South Side Chicago commercial corridors.

Grants are awarded quarterly.

Matching grant (50%, $5,000-$25,000) for businesses on Atlantic Avenue (2nd-40th Streets) in Virginia Beach, covering exterior/facade improvements, signage, landscaping, lighting, and outdoor cafe upgrades. Funding is available on a competitive first-come, first-served basis until funds for the 2026 fiscal year are depleted.

Rolling grant supporting new/expanding retail, restaurant, service, and pop-up businesses in Downtown Raleigh with one-time storefront upfit costs; up to $15,000 in the priority Fayetteville Street area or $7,500 elsewhere downtown, plus $2,500 more for minority- or women-owned businesses. Submit application and supporting documents by January 1, 2027 to be considered for committee review in mid-January.

Microgrants — BASE (up to $1,500) for early-stage entrepreneurs and STEP (up to $3,000) for established microenterprises — for Tampa-based microbusinesses that complete required technical assistance.

Provides $500–$12,000 to Alaska Mental Health Trust beneficiaries (individuals with disabilities or behavioral health conditions) to start, expand, or acquire a microenterprise with fewer than 5 employees.
