Women Veterans Giving is awarding the Melissa Washington Small Business Award to a woman veteran looking to start or expand her business. Recipients can receive up to $5,000, along with a business assessment, coaching, a certificate of recognition and other benefits, with the winner honored at the VIB Network National Conference in Palm Springs, CA, this November.

Micro-grants up to $10,000 for equipment/tech upgrades, building projects, façade improvements, signage, working capital, or start-up rent assistance; requires 20 hours of technical assistance or a 10% cash match. The grant serves rural communities under 4,000 population in Pepin, Buffalo, Jackson, Trempealeau, La Crosse, Monroe, Vernon, Juneau, and Crawford counties.

No-repayment microgrants of $7,500–$20,000 for historically disadvantaged small businesses (≥51% owned by socially/economically disadvantaged PA residents).

Verizon's Small Business Digital Ready program is offering a new $10,000 grant opportunity for entrepreneurs. Register and complete any combination of two eligible courses or events anytime in 2026 to unlock the grant application. Apply once to remain eligible for $10,000 grants awarded throughout the year. Applications will be reviewed monthly from June through December 2026

Covers up to 50% of eligible costs (up to $100,000/property) for façade/building upgrades for small businesses/property owners in designated Niagara Falls commercial districts.
