Provides up to $10,000 to early-stage Cobb County entrepreneurs (businesses under 7 years old) for marketing, equipment, lease payments, or facility improvements. Applicants must show proof of completing a recognized entrepreneurial program (e.g., KSU Small Business Development Center) and commit to remain in Cobb County for at least 3 years post-award.
Grants up to $10,000 plus mentoring and point-of-sale tech access for very small businesses (≤10 employees, ≤$500K revenue) in low-to-moderate income Southern California communities in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino counties.
Reimbursable grants up to $25,000 for NY small/medium businesses (≤500 NY employees) to start or expand export sales.
Grants for small businesses, nonprofits, and neighborhood associations to fund promotional projects, pop-ups, and events boosting activity in Albany's commercial districts.
The Economic Response Fund is part of a broader network of community-led efforts supporting Minnesotans amid the continuing impacts of Operation Metro Surge. At the Minneapolis Foundation, these include the Salt Cure Restaurant Recovery Fund, spearheaded by local food writer Stephanie March and others in the hospitality industry, which has raised and distributed nearly $1.5 million to more than 200 restaurants. Minnesota restaurants facing hardship can apply for this grant.
