Talent Development for the Future of Work: A Discussion

<b>Talent Development for the Future of Work</b> is an opportunity for a different conversation to identify challenges for talent development considering the shifting sands of automation, technology and other disruptive forces that threaten to create major economic shocks in the near future. <br> <br>This discussion will allow businesses to engage in this important dialogue across industries and reveal the emerging talent development strategies deployed by business. It will also provide the impetus for workforce and education providers to shift their current efforts in ways that better support the business community.<br> <br>The discussion will deploy a “fishbowl” structure that places business in the center as they share their approaches and responses to the challenges posed by the new Future of Work framing. The education and workforce leaders will “eavesdrop” on this business exchange to think about a fresh approach to developing talent from the K-12 level through postsecondary and adult workforce systems. With a future of work framing, we hope to break new ground on talent development and help design insightful approaches for the education and workforce development community.
