The Verizon Small Business Digital Ready (VSBDR) program is here to provide support for small businesses looking to stay competitive in the new digital economy. Visitors on the VSBDR platform can get quick tips and previews of all the free small business educational content on the site, including videos and articles authored by small businesses like you. Once you register, you’ll have access to a host of courses, resources, grants, live coaching and more, including:
- Grant funding: Verizon, in partnership with Local Initiatives Support Corp (LISC), is awarding 50 small businesses with $10,000 Verizon Small Business Digital Ready grants. These grants aim to provide business owners with the necessary finances to launch and grow their businesses. Apply today to secure funding for your business!
- Eligibility requirements:
- Be a for-profit U.S.-based business. Nonprofits are not eligible to apply.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have an account on Verizon Small Business Digital Ready.
- Complete any combination of two courses or virtual events (including recorded events) on the Digital Ready platform between January 1, 2025 and June 30, 2025.
- Engagements through in-person events associated with Digital Ready are not included towards grant eligibility.
- Submit a grant application by June 30, 2025.
- Be able to share and provide proper business and financial verification documentation (W-9s, ACH), if selected as a finalist.
- Personalized learning: Small business owners can access content that is most relevant to their industry and type of business. They can do so through online learning modules, which will unlock new benefits for entrepreneurs.
- Expert coaching: Receive guidance from business experts on legal matters, marketing strategies, business planning and much more. Small business owners will apply and implement what they learn in order to execute a tailored plan of action.
- Offers: By joining the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready program, small businesses will have the opportunity to access tools, solutions, products and services that can help scale their business.
- Peer networking: Small business owners will get connected with other entrepreneurs to build their network. This will allow them to share industry knowledge and connect on possible business opportunities to help support the small business ecosystem.
