Meeting w/ District Director for Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian
Meeting w/ advocates to discuss SB 17 and the polling SBM has done that reflects small business owners would like to see change happen when it comes to addressing the high cost of pharmaceutical drugs in the US. Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian previously voted yes on the senate bill but unsure of where he stands on the bill now. It appears that he's mentioned to other advocates that he has some hesitations about the bill but was unclear to specify which areas exactly. During the meeting we were supposed to meet with him directly but he had a last minute change in his schedule and thus met with his District Director who seemed to be supportive of the bill. We were accompanied by Health Access, AARP, and a Union Rep.<br>
