Small Business Owner Roundtable: Employee Management with a Lean HR Department

<h3>Small Business Majority, a national nonprofit, in partnership with the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce is hosting a focus group discussion for small business owners in the retail industry to share their views on employee management. Small business owner input is needed to inform how agencies and small business assistance centers can best support small firms with a lean or no HR department.</h3>

<h3>In response to the nationwide #MeToo concerns, guest speaker Karla Altmayer from Healing to Action will also lead an interactive discussion on how small business owners can be leaders to create a secure and productive workplace. </h3>

<p>Small business owners with employees in the retail sales and retail services industry are invited to attend this free focus group. Refreshments will be provided. There will also be four $25 dollar Amazon gift cards available for a participant drawing, therefore registration is required. </p>
