Join U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) from the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Small Business Majority and AAPI Progressive Action for a free webinar to learn about the small business provisions in the American Rescue Plan. She will be joined by Congresswoman Judy Chu (CA-27) from the U.S. House Committee on Small Business, Bharat Ramamurti, White House Deputy Director of the National Economic Council for Financial Reform and Consumer Protection, and Christopher P. Lu, AAPI Progressive Action Board Member and Former Deputy Secretary of Labor.

Asian American small business owners are invited to

  • Hear directly from Senator Duckworth, Congresswoman Chu, and Bharat Ramamurti on an overview of both the Congressional and White House response to small businesses for pandemic recovery, as well as Christopher Lu's views on how AAPI businesses are impacted by COVID-19.
  • Participate in a training to learn how owners can access capital relief and resources, especially neighborhood businesses located in Chinatowns, Koreatowns, Filipinotowns, Little Saigons, Little India corridors, and more.
  • Engage in an interactive Q&A session on how to access and navigate federal funding
