Georgia Budget and Policy Institute will host a candidate briefing featuring our People-Powered Prosperity (PPP) partners, Small Business Majority, 9to5 Georgia and Faith in Public Life. This will be a discussion about the PPP policy priority solutions and the importance of grassroots organizations voices in this moment.
PPP Partnership will present policy report to candidates running for statewide office in 2020, which includes critical data and evidence-based policy recommendations to fully leverage Georgia’s most powerful economic asset—its people. There is also a scorecard to show the progress on these policy recommendations. It is clearer than ever before that our state’s economy is not inclusive of every Georgian–and our entire state suffers as a result. But there are options to advance prosperity.
We hope this information helps you gain a deeper understanding of our state, as well as evidence-based policy ideas to consider as part of your platform and priorities.
