Kathleen’s main interest is in how she can be effective in fostering community healing and recovery. She is paying it forward and offering many of these throughout the Redding community to assist everyone in moving forward from the Carr fire.

Kathleen has many certifications in biofeedback training that include; Certified HeartMath® Clinician, Certified HeartMath® Trainer and Certified in MyoVision™ dynamic surface electromyography. She is a member of the HeartMath Trauma Recovery team that is addressing this worldwide.

Kathleen coaches both children and adults here in Redding and online around the country and is currently writing books and conducting further research on the heart/mind/body connection. She is a member of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback.

Kathleen is a member of Redding East Rotary Club, The Women’s Fund, the Euphrates Institute, and is working with One Safe Place and the YMCA to put HeartMath programs in place to help adults and children handle stress and create Resilience.

“My coaching with Dr. Riley has been incredibly helpful for my physical and mental wellbeing. Two of my biggest takeaways is first, understanding the intelligence of the heart, and second, a quote Kathleen referenced often that I will constantly remind myself of: “be humble in your confidence, yet courageous in your character.” In life, there are countless moments of self-doubt and times of uncertainty. Resiliency is important not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.” ~ Chantel L
