Existing businesses located in James City County are eligible to apply. Must be locally or regionally owned and have less than 20 employees. Grants up to $15,000.

Newport News Microenterprise Grant
Micro Enterprise must be within Newport and will have five or fewer employees. Not-for-profit businesses, organizations and entities are not eligible for this program. The business owners must be low to moderate income or the business must be located in a low to moderate-income area at the time of application. Grants for $500-$3500.
