Rooted in the Mission and focused on San Francisco, MEDA’s mission is to strengthen low-and moderate-income Latino families by promoting economic equity and social justice through asset building and community development. MEDA offers a free program that provides a comprehensive array of services that ensure clients develop the core competencies necessary to start, manage and expand a business. MEDA’s community loan fund – Fondo Adelante – is a vehicle for MEDA to provide access to capital to small-business owners who cannot get a loan at a traditional bank. All loan recipients will receive pre- and post-loan closing technical assistance from MEDA's Business Development Program, offered in English and Spanish.
