The City of Springfield's Business Development Loan Program is designed to provide financial assistance for small business concerns and nonprofit organizations to expand employment opportunities, stimulate private investment and eliminate slum and blight conditions in selected areas of the community. The purpose of the Microenterprise Loan Program/Business Incentive Loan Program is to facilitate economic development through the establishment, stabilization and expansion of micro-enterprises and small businesses.
