Small Business Majority, in partnership with the City of St. Louis Treasurer's Office, is celebrating National Women's Small Business Month with a host of in-person presentations, workshops and networking opportunities for women entrepreneurs throughout the month of October. Women are starting small businesses at a higher rate than men, and their businesses are generating jobs and business revenues above the national average. Supporting female entrepreneurs, especially women of color, has the potential to unlock tremendous growth for our communities. These businesses continue to be immovable forces in the community, using their voices to educate, empower others and activate change. This month-long celebration opens with a Signature Launch event on October 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Central Library's auditorium. The October 1st launch event includes:Panel Discussions:
